About the Grand Baldwin Festival

Celebrating Baldwin

The Grand Baldwin Festival is a celebration of the Baldwin community featuring a pop-up marketplace, food vendors, musical performances, an art showcase, and various activities for all ages. It brings together all of Baldwin’s key stakeholders, including residents, business owners, non-profit organizations, and houses of worship to strengthen pride in our community and promote a vibrant business environment.

Helping the Baldwin Community

The Festival is sponsored by the Community Coalition of Baldwin, an offshoot of the Baldwin Council Against Drug Abuse (BCADA), a 501 (c) 3 non-profit. It was created in 2011, in keeping with BCADA’s mission to raise community awareness about the dangers of substance abuse, especially in this current opioid epidemic. The Coalition’s mission is to bring community stakeholders together to mobilize a more cohesive community and strengthen pride in Baldwin.

Funds raised from the Festival will be used to implement community-building projects and events that bring Baldwinities together, in addition to funding scholarships for Baldwin students that give back to the community.

Volunteer Driven

A small group of committed Baldwinites volunteer their time each year on the Festival Planning Committee, with preparations beginning months before the event. Another team of volunteers assist the day of the event with set up, event coordination, and clean up. Volunteer positions are still available. Please visit the Volunteer Page for more information.
