Mr. Chris’s Musical Experience -
FancyCat - Baldwin Alumn, FancyCat, is a Long Island-based indie alternative artist, producer, songwriter and classically trained singer. They perform, curate and host events all around Long Island with Lost Island Arts. When not performing, FancyCat is participating & facilitating conversations about mental health, addiction, organization, leadership, and positive reinforcement.
Jaylyn Valentin - is a BHS graduate and current student at Queen’s College. She has a love for music and drama and is more than happy to be getting back into performing, especially here in her home town!
Musically Inclined - A jazz funk band based on Long Island.
Pat's Dance Studio - A performance based studio proudly contributing to the community for the past 45 years. Their studio is their HOME. A place where you're not judged. Where you are loved for who you are. They welcome you to their dance family!
Nassau Dance Center - Nassau Dance Center has been serving the community for over 25 years. They perform for senior citizens, festivals, local schools; charities and host girl scout events. Nassau Dance offers all styles of dance to all ages.
New World Music Center - Conveniently located on Grand Avenue in Baldwin! New World Music Center has been serving the musical needs of the community since 1988. Professional music lessons, instruments, accessories, and print music sales, rentals, and repairs. They do it all. Stop by and see them - they’ll get you playing!
Yovanne & Les Artistes - Yovanne attended Juilliard for two years before transferring to North Carolina Central to focus on jazz music. He received a double degree in piano/organ performance in theory and composition. Yovanne was the vocal coach at Capital and Polygram records. At 18 he worked under the legendary gospel singer and composer James Cleveland. He has also performed at legendary NYC Jazz venues such as the Apollo Theatre, BB Kings, Birdland, Sweet Waters, Minton’s Playhouse and Cotton Club, The Triad and Don't Tell Mama Piano Bar & Cabaret.
